South Haven MI
Coming back to the blogging world at this stage. This photo was taken at the Sleepy Hollow resort in South Haven, MI. Very cool place with cottages modeled on designs from the Chicago World's Fair.

They are white art deco things. Very similar to the house I grew up in. It is amazing to me that the asthetics and building approach of these houses are not more popular. They seem relatively inexpensive, clean and artistic. The only downside is the flat roof. Which is not so much an aesthetic downside as a reliability issue. Pooling water = trouble.
