Time for Winnemac Block Party 2008!

This Saturday, June 28, is the Winnemac Block party. Every year it is a blast. I am in charge of music again this year. In year's past, I have supplemented my own party music with suggestions from others. The results have been great. However, I am not nearly as good at finding good party music as I used to be. I need help.

We need about 7 hours of music. Yikes! So any good-time music suggesstions are helpful. I like to keep it summery and fun. Which means, as much as I love Sigur Ros, their icelandic dirges will not make the cut.

So here are the themes:

1. Fireworks in my mind

2. Je ne parle pas Anglais (or French)

3. Land of 1000 dances

4. Shake shake shake, shake shake shake

5. Joey Ramone, meet

Also, if you have any ideas for online tools that make this easier, let me know.
